Refrigerated container rental is a service that is growing in popularity. Refrigerated containers are a special type of containers that transport goods that require certain conditions inside. They have a built-in unit that powers the entire structure, so the refrigerated container can maintain the desired temperature. Refrigerated containers have particular applications in the food industry (e.g. the transportation of meat or dairy products), pharmaceutical industry(e.g. the transportation of medicines) and trade (e.g. the florist industry).
Buying a refrigerated container is often associated with high costs, so renting refrigerated storage is very beneficial, especially if you are a small company or, for example, you need a refrigerated container seasonally. Each refrigerated container has the required PTI (Pre-Trip Inspection) certificate (Pre Trip Inspection), which confirms the chillerβs operability and the date of the last inspection, so you can be sure that you are getting a fully operational product.
Balticon offers both short-term and long-term rental of refrigerated containers. We offer new, refurbished and used refrigerated containers in lengths of 10, 20 and 40 feet. The containers are refrigerated by units of the brands: Daikin, ThermoKing, Carrier and Starcool, which provide the ability to maintain temperatures from +30Β°C to -40Β°C.
Standard refrigerated containers are available in 10′, 20′ and 40′ sizes and are refrigerated by one of the Starcool, Thermoking or Carrier brand chillers.
They typically have a gretting-type floor, which features longitudinal ribbing and allows for efficient air circulation throughout the cooler (including under pallets).
Domestic containers are an upgraded version of standard refrigerated containers.
They are brand new, after one sea trip from the manufacturer. They feature a flat floor, a quiet chiller, energy-efficient LED lighting and also walls that are filled with polyurethane.
The containers can be equipped with an online surveillance system.
Super Store refrigerated containers are created by combining two or more 40-foot elevated coolers (High Cube).
Their advantage is the lack of partition walls so that a minimum of 51 pallets can be accommodated with free cargo handling.
The coolers are refrigerated by Starcool or ThermoKing brand units. They also have a flat floor.
